Julia Shannon-Grillo

Editorial Intern

Julia Shannon-Grillo is an editorial intern on the NewsGuard Health team. She is pursuing a master’s degree at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she specializes in investigative reporting. Shannon-Grillo holds a bachelor’s degree in community health from Tufts University, where she served as editor-in-chief of The Tufts Daily. At Tufts, she also worked as a research assistant on an NIH-funded opioid treatment study.

While in college, Shannon-Grilllo was involved in political campaigns in her home state of Vermont, working for various local Democratic candidates.
